Join us as we celebrate our 30th Annual Howl on the Hill Run and Walk In Newmarket with a NEW route
Mark your palmtop, day timer or calendar for Sunday October 25, 2009 - 10a.m. at Denne Public School in Newmarket. This is Girls Incorporated®'s 30th Annual fundraising 5/10km run and walk. The choice of the route is yours: flaunt your stamina in the 5 or the 10 km run/walk by forging along the route in the beautiful town of Newmarket. Regardless of which event you participate in, fabulous incentive prizes await at all pledge levels.
Highlights include; a free t-shirt and race kit for the first 200 registrants; warm up before the race and a cool-down led by trainers; food; refreshments; prizes; and a Deejay! Children under 5 are free when accompanied with a paid, registered adult. *Please Note: This year's run/walk will not be Chip Timed. However we encourage anyone who wants to come and run for fun.
Girls Incorporated® is dedicated to providing girls with the tools they will need to be strong, smart, and bold. We offer a number of programs and services for girls between the ages of 6-18 and their families within York Region and Bradford. Its programs include Sporting Chance, Economic Literacy, and Friendly PEERsuasion. Proceeds from Howl on the Hill are directly applied to fund these valuable programs.
